Mekong Village rice paddies dragon fruit farm exploration about 40-50km of flat riding followed by a boat adventure on a Mekong tributary.

We will meet you at the meeting point and begin our one-hour transfer to the start of our cycling experience. We will arrive at one of our favourite local cafes for coffee. During this preparation for riding we will have time to ensure that your bicycle is properly fitted and that you are acquainted with it.

Our cycling adventures through the rice paddies are particularly narrow and elevated for irrigation purposes. For less experienced riders walking your bike through these short distances is recommended. It will give amazing opportunities for some spectacular photos of the verdant landscapes the Mekong region has to offer.

After a relaxing stop at a local river overpass for a much-needed water refill and cool snack we will continue through empty country roads under the shade of mature indigenous trees. This will be a welcome respite from the suns rays and in this part of the segment the wind picks up and provides a refreshing and cooling breeze.

While cycling is much more relaxed and less technical in this segment we do realize that some of our riders will elect to take a shuttle to our finishing destination instead of continuing to ride. Our transport vehicle and private shuttle will be standing by to ensure that these riders have the support they need to thoroughly enjoy their day at the end of the ride we will all meet up at a local boat station for a relaxing 1-hour tour on a private boat along one of the most beautiful regions waterways to a restaurant where we will be treated to authentic Mekong cuisine and have an opportunity to relax and refresh with a cold shower.

After a relaxing lunch and adult beverage enjoyment we will say goodbye to the Mekong and hop back into our private transport vehicle for a 1.5-hour ride back to HCMC.
